Short write-up about oak tree (Bhutan)
Oak Tree
Oak tree is usually prominent in an urban areas of Bhutan like Trashigang, Mongar, Haa, Chukha, Paro,Thimphu,Wangdue, Trongsa and Zhemgang Districs. This type of tree is found between 2100 and 2700 metres in Bhutan.

An acron or Oak Nut
This tree bears glamorous fruits. The fruit of oak tree is known as an acorn or oak nut. The color of an acron resemble as that of walnut or brown. It takes 6-18 months to mature the seed of oak tree depending upon the species. As per my experience in my own village( Trashigang), it provide food for the wildlife but it cannot be used for human consumption. It's often believed that the timber of oak tree is well known for hard and strong.

Oak Tree Leaves
In winter, the leaves of oak tree naturally fall on the ground. Usually the people who resides in the above-mentioned places they collect leaves for the agriculture purposes and to make a manure.
